So I had to say goodbye to the best school I have worked for since I have been in education. I will miss the freedom and all the extra things they let me do. My extra art club was really something I looked forward to every Friday to close out the week. My daughter actually saw me tear up as I tried to stay Florence STRONG when I checked out today. Here is a picture of the best CO and XO combination I have ever worked for. Mrs Gulley...

Well it has been a month since my last post. I had to return to Guam, where I started my teaching career in the Military.
I spent a month there with new and old friends. As we began our inspection, I was able to train new people on the jobs I used to do. Great personalities...

I had the opportunity to introduce the art club at one of my schools to Geli Plate Printmaking. I...

It has been about two weeks since I have posted, but that would be because of the packed schedule.
Let’s start with painting all of the decorations for the library for one of my schools. Getting ready for Dr. Seuss’s birthday celebration. I had no idea how that this was such a celebration. I also...

So my journey in elementary continues with pushing those boundaries of the kid’s art skills. Every class I hear less “I can’t do this”, “This is too hard”, and “When do we get a free day?”. “I got this Mister P.”, is what I heard a lot of today and a few, “Can I try...

So it has been about two weeks since I posted last and a lot has happened. First I think I had some major losses in discipline and trying to get people to function, focus, and just be willing and ready to make some artwork. However halfway through this week I was able to start a...

Well a whole lot has happened since TAEA in November. Finished my Lithography class with 11 pieces. Feeling good about my first run at stones, even did a few multi colored prints. However, the big news is I am back in the classroom full time. I will be the new...

Well this was a full week. First of all, I just got back from TAEA (Texas Art Educators Association). What a great time in Galveston where I learned so much. Mainly next time I will be presenting and doing the artist sale.
When I got back home I had to play catch up on my printmaking....

Well, made it another week. Definitely chocked full of things that needed to get done. First off, got more involved with the coaching gig. Getting all the field equipment ready for the Friday home game was very taxing. I had no idea how much equipment and time goes into planning one game. I have a...
